    8am - Federation University Half Marathon

  • START-FINISH LOCATION: Ballarat Town Hall - 225 Sturt St, Ballarat Central

  • CUT-OFF TIME: Six hours

  • MINIMUM AGE: 16 years or older on the day of the event

Revel in the highlights of beautiful Ballarat during this Sunday morning tour of the city. Our flat and fast 21.1km course takes you into Victoria Park, through the Arch of Victory and around Lake Wendouree, then finishes with the historic beauty of Lydiard and Sturt Streets.

FURTHER INFORMATION

  • The cut-off time for the Federation University Half Marathon is six hours after the last runner crosses the start line. Adherence to these cut-off times will ensure roads can be reopened in accordance with our event permits. Cut-off times are based on chip-time start not gun-time.

  • Water, Fixx Fuel X electrolyte drink (Tropical Fruits flavour) and Fixx Gel X Pro energy gels will be available at each of our drink stations. There are toilets at each drink station.

  • Drink Station 1, 3km (corner of Cedar Dr and Plane Ave) – Water, Fixx products & toilets

    Drink Station 2, 6km (Elm Ave just prior to Oak Ave) – Water, Fixx products & toilets

    Drink Station 3, 9.5km (Sturt St eastbound level with Ningana St) – Water, Fixx products & toilets

    Drink Station 4, 12.5km (Sturt St before Pleasant St – outside City Oval Bowling Club) – Water, Fixx products & toilets

    Drink Station 5, 15.5km (Wendouree Pde and Zoo Dr) – Water, Fixx products & toilets

    Drink Station 6, 19km (Pleasant St just after City Oval Hotel) – Water, Fixx products & toilets

    Recovery Zone (Armstrong St South, just past finish line) – Water, Fixx products & toilets

  • To assist you in achieving your marathon goals we have a team of pacers who will run at an even effort/pace.

    The pacers are like on-course coaches, encouraging you and other runners along the way.

    Each pacer will be easily identifiable. They will each be carrying a flag that clearly displays their target finish time.
