HAPPY TRAINING!
10KM TRAINING GUIDES
10KM BEGINNER
This program is suited to runners new to structured training who can run 5km continuously at an easy pace. The focus is on consistency, gradually increasing running volume, and learning how different efforts feel, rather than chasing speed. It’s a supportive introduction to training with structure.
10KM INTERMEDIATE
Designed for runners with a solid aerobic base who want to improve their 10km performance. You should be comfortable running regularly and handling structured sessions. The plan focuses on improving pacing control, aerobic power, and efficiency while keeping training balanced and repeatable week to week.
HALF MARATHON TRAINING GUIDES
HALF MARATHON BEGINNER
This plan is ideal for runners stepping up to the half marathon distance for the first time. You should be able to run 10km without stopping, at an easy pace. The program prioritises building endurance gradually, improving confidence with longer runs, and developing a feel for different efforts without overwhelming intensity.
HALF MARATHON INTERMEDIATE
This program is for runners with an established base who are ready to train with more structure and intent. You should be able to run 10km continuously and feel comfortable training multiple days per week. The plan focuses on improving aerobic fitness, race-specific pacing, and durability, while keeping the workload manageable alongside life commitments.
MARATHON TRAINING GUIDES
MARATHON BEGINNER
This plan is suited to runners who are newer to longer-distance training but can run continuously at an easy pace. You should be comfortable running for extended periods and ready to gradually build your endurance over time. The emphasis is on consistency, sensible progression, and learning how to manage longer runs without unnecessary pressure.
MARATHON INTERMEDIATE
This program is designed for runners who already have a consistent running base and are looking to build toward the marathon in a structured, sustainable way. You should be comfortable running regularly across the week and able to complete longer runs without stopping. The focus is on developing endurance, efficiency, and confidence while balancing training load to keep you healthy through the full preparation.
